Many times we worry about things which are beyond our control.
Worrying makes us immobilized, it solves nothing but still we
think about it and get stressed.
How to manage this stress? Here are some useful ideas: Always take time for yourself, at least 15 minutes per day. Do not try to control others, we can only control ourselves. Daily exercise could be very useful in managing stress. Lots of fresh fruit, vegetables, bread and water, give your body the best for it to perform at its best. Forgive others, don’t hold grudges and be tolerant — not everyone is as capable as you. Find new perspective on things, how important is the issue? Hugs, kisses and laughter are still the best medicines. Judge your own performance realistically; don’t set goals out of your own reach. |
Keep a positive attitude, your outlook will influence outcomes and the way others treat you. Limit alcohol, drugs, cigarettes and other stimulants. Manage money well. Seek advice from others. ‘No’ is a word you need to learn to use without feeling guilty. Be involved in outdoor activities with friends and family. Listen to Music. Nurture friendships and enjoy them. Listen more and talk less. Sleep well. Watch movies sometimes, go out for a dinner or a walk. Understand things from the other person’s point of view. Verify information from the source before exploding. Worry less! Travel! Make your priority list. Be remember, each day is a gift, smile and be thankful that you are a part of the bigger picture. |
