Born in New Delhi, Bharat Bhushan Gupta ji, son of Shri Moolchand Gupta, originally from Meham, Haryana. Youngest between his two more dear brothers and three much loved sisters.
Post completion of graduation from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Bhushan ji, joined his family business. You were very passionate about promoting family business. You never took unnecessary leave from work. When you married Smt Indira Gupta on 22.02.1976 (Sunday) took only one day off from his work. Work was his life – You even taught this as lesson to me, your son shyam, If u leave school or work for one day, the school or work will leave you behind by two days.
You were loving, kind hearted person. You would help people generously with money and advise/experience. People considered you “Doordarshi” and at the same time “impartial” - The one who would always stand for the right thing – there was nobody who said a word against you all throughout your life and were many times asked to mediate/arbitrate other people's business problems and fights. You promoted peace, love and friendship all through your life, like a Saint.
Religion was a important part of who you were. You visited Balaji Tirupati Temple nearly every year for last 15 years. You also visited Mata Vaishno Devi shrine also every year from late 70's to early 90's with friends and family. He loved to take a dip in holy Ganga and would often visit Haridwar – Rishikesh to do so. I don't think there would be a holy place from Amaranth ji to Rameshwaram and all in between that he wouldn't have gone to in his life.
You loved to travel, had been to most countries with us, your family. You enjoyed taking friends and family to all those places where they would not have been able to go without you. You were a great team leader, fast decision maker and organised things in detail to the last hilt, we don't know if you planned away your going also...
You left us on 15th August 2009, a national holiday so that nobody had to leave his work and also his business/shop was not shut one day extra other than the 15th August holiday.
Noble souls like Bharat Bhushan Gupta ji, live forever. |
