Virendra Kumar Mendiratta, You were born on the 25th January in 1951 in Merrut, Uttar Pradesh. You were the eldest son of Dr. Yudhishtir Lal Mendiratta and Grandson of Headmaster Lala Lekhu Ram Mendiratta.

After completing your Mechanical Engineering studies you moved to Delhi. For most part of your life, you worked for Engineers India Limited, New Delhi.

You had great interest and knowledge of Computers and Medicine, particularly Homeopathy and Ayurveda. You had BAMS Degree of Ayurveda and had great faith in Traditional Indian Medicines, Yoga, Meditation and House Hold Remedies.

Helping others was a part of you. Often you would go beyond your means to positively contribute to the world with your acts and suggestions.

You were an Arya Samaji and a devotee of Lord Shri Krishna. You also financially supported various Social Work and Religious Organizations. Monthly visit to the Govardhan Parikrama in Mathura was a great joy to you.

You were an inspiring and encouraging personality who was loved by so many.

On 12th October 2007, you passed away to your heavenly abode, leaving behind your mother Shrimati Shakuntala Devi Mendiratta, dearest daughter (Nitika), son (Nitin) and me, your wife Meena Mendiratta. You were a great husband and father.

Today 4 years have passed. They say, “Time heals all wounds.", I think wounds remain, just that pains is a little less, but it is never gone.

We remember the laughter, tears and dreams you shared with us. To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die. Your reverberance gives us pleasure, hope and determination.

We continue to cherish your memory and we always will. You, my husband will always be in my heart.

With Love and Respect,
