Reporter> Baba, we've heard that you are keeping 50 old and critically ill cows in a shelter, at Mahatyagi Ashram at Tilpat Village, in Faridabad. Is that right?

Vishwabandhu> Yes, we have made a facility for old and diseased cows and also birds in our Mahatyagi Ashram in Tilpat Village, Faridabad (Haryana). People of local villages who are unable to keep their old cows give them away to us. At present we have 50+ cows. We have also made a dedicated arrangement for bird feed area where Pigeons, Crows, Parrots, Peacocks are our regular visitors. Every time I see birds eating, I feel very happy, as it helps me thank God, who is giving me enough food, water and a place to live! We are also constructing an old age home here in the same premises.

Reporter> What motivates you?

Vishwabandhu> Sadhu does not need motivation, all his actions are borne out of love towards God and Humanity. Not just Sadhus or Pandits but all religious men and women do good deeds out of love for God. Hindus believe that every living being is a child of God.

Hindus also believe that one has to go through various re-births (Chaurasi-laakh yoni) to reach God. Therefore, it becomes all the more important that we treat these life forms the way we want to be treated!

When God can appear out of a stone (Lord Narasimha), then how can God not appear out of a living being? Today, we are willing to worship a dead stone in temple but outside we are torturing His creations. Jesus, Allah, Waheguru, Ram, Krishna --- Message of all God, all prophets is nothing but ‘Love’; to love humanity, to love God and His teachings. Loving His creations (animals) is also worship. Only ‘love’ can wash away our sins, our mistakes like a soap. It is only action filled with love towards others that can wash away our sins and correct our mistakes. If you want more reason then let me quote verse from Tulsi Ramayna:

Reporter> Thank you.
Vishwabandhu> Thank you.
