Dear Diligent Readers: As we were preparing this issue of ‘God Bless Our Home’ our magazine content committee had an interesting discussion. Has the progress of capitalism created a false humanity? Is materialistic greed creating inhuman beings? This may not have been the intention of our world leaders but that is what has happened. One God but so many religions, we talk about beautiful things but live a stressful ugly life. You would readily agree that ‘Science' and ‘Logic' are poor substitutes of God. The fruits of scientific growth, materialism and money mindedness is taking away the humanity from humans. Some intellectuals claim, “Religion is opium of people". Why should there be war in our God made world? World is one family, why should there be so many differences, discriminations and conflicts? Leaders distort the reality according to their own ideas, hair-splitting politics, insecurities, interest and fears. They all want reality of their country and social system to support their interest, they distort truth, and want reality to be what they think. Today, the need is to revive humanity, to channelize 100% human energy towards service of God, be through creativity, art, music, dance, philosophy, science politics or poetry. Only then we will be able to form a humane society. Therefore, Be Human - Revive Humanity!
