BOOK REVIEW: Word “Mother" in any language sounds like magic. To be a mother is to be a little insane, to love a child so much, so unconditionally, so instinctually, so unselfishly and forever! In his book “Maan”, Urdu Poet - Munnawar Rana ji has beautifully phrased what we all feel about our mothers but had no words to express. Rana ji’s ‘Ghazals’ and ‘Shers’ delightfully glorify mother. Mothers arms are more comforting that anyone else. Mother may not be perfect but there is NO substitute for a mother. With her we deposit all our pain, hurt and worries. Her love and care comforts us like nothing else. Indeed she is comparable with God! This book deserves a place in every home!
